One click on a Simpro job texts the customer an OnSight RVX link. When the session ends, the photos, OCR captures, report and a note are on that job — no re-keying, no separate system to check.
Start from the job
Open a Simpro job and click the OnSight link. OnSight reads the job, finds the site contact's mobile (or the customer's), texts the invite and opens the live console. A 'session started' note is added to the job immediately.
Run the session or the self-survey
Guide the customer live — annotate, capture, measure, read serials — or send them a self-survey to complete alone at any hour.
Everything back on the job
When the session ends, stills, annotated frames and OCR captures go into an 'OnSight' folder on the job, a summary note is added, and optionally the job status and two custom fields are set. The recording link follows when processing completes.

Does OnSight RVX integrate with Simpro?
Yes. OnSight RVX starts a remote visual assistance session directly from a Simpro job and writes the photos, OCR captures, signed report and a summary note back to that job when the session ends. Hostcomm is a member of the Simpro Partner Program.
What does the integration read from Simpro?
The job, the site and its contacts, and the customer record — enough to find the right mobile number and address. It does not sync customer lists.
What does it write to Simpro?
Attachments (stills, annotated frames, OCR text captures) in a folder on the job, a note summarising the session with a link to it, and optionally a job status change and two custom-field values (OnSight session ID and status).
How long does setup take?
About fifteen minutes for a Simpro administrator: create an API application with the Client Credentials grant in Simpro, paste the build URL, client ID and secret into OnSight, optionally map a completion status and two custom fields, and test the connection.
Which Simpro plans support it?
Any Simpro build with API access enabled. The integration uses Simpro's REST API v1.0 and respects Simpro's shared rate limit.
Can the session be triggered automatically?
A status-triggered self-survey — a job moves to 'Survey required' and the customer receives the link with no click — uses the same write-back path and is on the roadmap. Today the trigger is the link on the job.
