Do I really not need a developer?
Correct, for the vast majority of use cases. The agent itself is built in our no-code console. Custom tool integrations are delivered as packaged work at fixed prices — we write the code, you don't. The only thing your team is on the hook for is helping our team scope the use case and granting API access during onboarding. If you genuinely need to extend our SDK with custom logic of your own, the option is there — but it's an option, not a requirement.
How is this different from Vapi, Retell, or Bland?
Those are developer platforms. They give you the API and the SDK and expect you to build the integrations yourself. We give you the working agent and we build the integrations for you at fixed, transparent prices. For mid-market companies without a dedicated AI engineering team, this is the difference between launching in 2 weeks and launching in 2 quarters.
What does "fixed price" really mean for a custom integration?
It means we agree the scope on the call, you sign off on a one-page statement of work, we deliver against it. If we hit something we didn't anticipate, we tell you before doing the work — we don't bill you a surprise variation. The only things outside fixed pricing are systems without public APIs, on-prem systems requiring VPN, or building you a new API on your side before we can integrate. We flag those upfront on the scoping call.
Which integrations do you have ready today?
Calendly, HubSpot, and Stripe are live as templates — we use them ourselves so we know they work. Generic REST API integration is also live for any system with a public API. Salesforce, Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, and Zendesk are next in the queue, expected within a month each. If you need something not on the list, we can build it custom — that's what the $2,995 tier is for.
How much does the platform itself cost?
Per-minute pricing for voice plus a platform subscription that includes the agent builder, the management console, analytics, and warm-transfer infrastructure. Custom integrations are priced separately at the tiers shown. See the pricing page for full ranges; we quote against your call volume on the scoping call.
Does this integrate with our existing contact centre?
Two ways. Either Hostcomm's voice agents run alongside your existing ACD — we take a DID, handle the AI conversation, and transfer to your human queue when needed. Or you migrate the whole contact centre to our Contact-Pro platform for fully integrated deployment. Most customers start with the first option and move to the second when they see results.
What about HIPAA, SOC 2, and US data residency?
Hostcomm holds PCI DSS Level 1 service provider certification. For HIPAA and SOC 2 Type II, we can deliver under BAAs on dedicated infrastructure — contact us for specifics on your compliance envelope. US-hosted processing is available; we're happy to walk through the architecture on a technical call.
What happens when the AI can't handle a call?
It escalates to a human on your team — SIP transfer to an internal extension or external number. The human picks up with a written summary, full transcript, sentiment trend, and customer record already open. No "please hold while I connect you," no customer repeating themselves.
